Brandon, I attended most of your talk and have to say that I didn’t get the “dirty” vibe at all. The fact is that we need experts willing to talk about this stuff, and if you don’t do something for a living you’re not likely to be as “expert” on it as somebody who does. I think people understand that most speakers have some vested interest in what they’re talking about, and accept that. I didn’t find your talk pushy, obnoxious, or “sales pitch-y” at all. It was great information, presented in a very accessible way, and I think you’re being too hard on yourself. I really appreciate you taking your Saturday to do it.

I enjoyed your mobile apps presentation and I have to say that I didn’t get the feeling it was a sell. Not at all. You showcased mobile/cloud applications and their benefit to the small business owner. You also gave clear examples on how custom applications could make their business more efficient by packaging their data, making it more useful and mobile.

You communicated your points well and had great audience participation. Well done.
